What is UDL file
UDF file is a simple test file which we use for check database connectivity.
Create UDL File
Here are some steps to create a UDF file.
- First, create a test with (.txt) extension.
- Then open your file explorer click on view tab and checkmark the “File Name Extensions” option.
- Now right-click on your test file and click on rename and replace the (.txt) extension with (.udl).
- Now udl file has successfully created.
How to use UDL File
First, open your udl file and then fill your database details on the file and click on test connection. If connection is successful then your database connection is stable.
