2.0 Installation of Magento better thank you page Module
Follow the following steps for installing Knowband’s Magento better thank you page Module:
- Download the Magento better thank you page extension package.
- Unzip the package on your root folder of Magento setup via FTP manager (like Filezilla or WinSCP – download here: https://filezilla-project.org/).
- In Admin Panel go to “System > Knowband Extensions > BTYP”.
- That is all – Your system is ready.
3.0 Admin Panel Settings
Admin Panel of Magento better order confirmation page offers 4 tabs for settings.
3.1. General Settings
The General Settings of the Magento order confirmation page extension has following options:
- Enable/Disable: This option allows the user to enable or disable the plugin. Switch it on to enable the module.
- Show Order reference number: Enable this option to show order reference number to customers at order success page.
- Include jQuery: This option allows us to include jQuery in our module so that the module can work for other versions of the Magento also.
3.2. Products Block Settings
After clicking on the products block settings tab of Magento better thank you page plugin, the below screen appears. It has following options:
- Show Related Products: Enable this option to show related products block at the order confirmation page. All related products of the order will be shown in which customer might be interested to buy.
- Product Block Position: It decides the sort order in which Related Product Block will be shown on screen with respect to Discount and Advertisement section.
- Test message: Here HTML can be added to show below Related Products Block.
3.3. Discount Block Settings
After clicking on the discount block settings tab of Magento better order confirmation page module, the below screen will appear. It has the following options:
- Enable: By enabling this option, the admin can display discount coupon on every successful order. This coupon can be used only one time at next purchase.
- Discount Block Position: It decides the sort order in which Discount section will be shown on screen with respect to Related Product List section and Advertisement section.
- Discount Type: Discount type can be both percentage discount or fixed value discount. Coupons will be generated as per this setting and value.
3.4. Advertisement Block Settings
After clicking on the advertisement block settings tab of Magento order confirmation page extension, below screen appears. It has following options:
- Enable: If admin enables this option from the back-end of the Magento custom thank you page extension, then, he/she can upload any banner or picture to be displayed as an advertisement on the order confirmation page.
- Advertisement Block Position: It decides the sort order in which Advertisement section will be shown on screen with respect to Related Product List section and Discount section.
- Background Image: Here admin can upload the banner which he/she wants to be shown on the front end of the order confirmation page. Already uploaded image can be removed by clicking remove button. The changes made in the back-end of the Magento order success page extension will be reflected in the front-end.
Store Front
After enabling this Magento order confirmation page plugin the order confirmation box of the front end will be changed and a new order confirmation page will appear with the features of the backend settings done in the better thank you page.
