To receive notifications, you must first create and register a Destination, such as an Amazon Simple Queue Service (Amazon\u00a0SQS) queue. Then, you will need to create a Subscription for the NotificationType that you want to receive.<\/p>\n<p>How the queue is created and how MWS Subscription is done for the NotificationType are described below.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Create Amazon Simple Queue Service (Amazon\u00a0SQS) queue<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>1.<\/strong> Login\u00a0SQS\u00a0Management Console using\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/console.aws.amazon.com\/sqs\/home?region=us-west-2#\" target=\"_blank\">https:\/\/console.aws.amazon.com\/sqs\/home?region=us-west-2#<\/a>\u00a0URL\u00a0and credentials. Select queue type. By default,\u00a0<strong>Standard Queue<\/strong>\u00a0will be selected. After entered time, that message will be automatically deleted from the queue.\n<p>These are two most important fields. Other fields are:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Maximum Message Size:\u00a0Highest message size (in bytes) accepted by Amazon\u00a0SQS.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Delivery Delay:\u00a0<\/strong>The amount of time to delay the first delivery of all messages added to this queue.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Receive Message Wait Time:\u00a0<\/strong>The highest amount of time that a long-polling receive call will wait for a message to become available before returning an empty response.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>After enter detail, click on\u00a0<strong>Create Queue<\/strong>\u00a0button and you will be redirected on queue list page and your new queue will also be shown as shown in below image and basic detail of queue will also be displayed.<\/p>\n<p>In basic detail, there is\u00a0<strong>URL<\/strong>\u00a0which is the most important attribute and this will be used to register and subscribe for notification.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.knowband.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/Picture13-2.png\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-25912 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.knowband.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/Picture13-2.png\" alt=\"URL\" width=\"1582\" height=\"674\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.knowband.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/Picture13-2.png 1582w, https:\/\/www.knowband.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/Picture13-2-300x128.png 300w, https:\/\/www.knowband.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/Picture13-2-768x327.png 768w, https:\/\/www.knowband.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/Picture13-2-1024x436.png 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1582px) 100vw, 1582px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Now click on\u00a0Permissions\u00a0tab and click on\u00a0<strong>Add a Permission<\/strong>\u00a0button. A popup will be opened like below image. For this, you need to use RegisterDestination operation on\u00a0MWS. The RegisterDestination operation specifies a location where you want to receive notifications and adds it to the list of registered destinations.<\/p>\n<p>For this, open\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/mws.amazonservices.co.uk\/scratchpad\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\">https:\/\/mws.amazonservices.co.uk\/scratchpad\/index.html<\/a>\u00a0or\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/mws.amazonservices.com\/scratchpad\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\">https:\/\/mws.amazonservices.com\/scratchpad\/index.html<\/a>\u00a0depending on the marketplace. This operation sends a test notification to the Destination that you specify.<\/p>\n<h3>Subscribe for Notification<\/h3>\n<p>For this, you need to use CreateSubscription operation and this operation creates a new subscription for the specified notification type and destination. Subscription.Destination.AttributeList.member.1.Key should be\u00a0<strong>sqsQueueUrl<\/strong>\u00a0and in Subscription.Destination.AttributeList.member.1.Value, you need to enter\u00a0SQS\u00a0URL which was under details in\u00a0SQS\u00a0Queue. Subscription.IsEnabled will be true.<\/p>\n<p>When submitting the request, either you will get success or error in response.
