One for <strong>App Package Name <\/strong>and Another one for <strong>Package Name for Push Notification Service<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h1><a id=\"post-11845-_Toc499577497\"><\/a>Setting up Push Notification in Apple developer account<\/h1>\n<h2><a id=\"post-11845-_Toc499577498\"><\/a>Prerequisites for creating App Id in Apple Developer Account (Will be provided by Knowband)<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>App Package Name (com.example.xxxx)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><a id=\"post-11845-_Toc499577499\"><\/a>Setting up the App Id for Push notifications<\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>On \u201ciOS App IDs\u201d page. Look for the App ID you just created (The same as provided by Knowband). Press on it and you should see a drop down of Application Services.<\/li>\n<li>Scroll down until you reach the end of the drop down and you should see an \u201cEdit\u201d button. Press that.<\/li>\n<li>The \u201ciOS App ID Settings\u201d page will show up. Now, it is the time to generate the CSR (Certificate Signing Request) that will be used to generate SSL certificate. The CSR file can only be generated from MacBook. Press continue, and then click \u201cChoose file\u2026\u201d Select the CSR file you just saved on your hard drive.<\/li>\n<li>Next, click &#8220;<strong>continue&#8221;<\/strong>again. Again, this can be generated by Knowband after sharing the certificates files with usby you or you can also generate it at own end. Read <a href=\"#post-11845-_How_to_generate_1\">How to generate private key file (.p12) using MacBook.<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Now you will have the private key file (.p12) for development and production environment.<\/li>\n<li>Save these files for now. You will have to share the <strong>GoogleInfo.plist<\/strong> file to Knowband.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h1><a id=\"post-11845-_How_to_Generate\"><\/a><a id=\"post-11845-_Toc499577506\"><\/a>How to Generate CSR (Certificate Signing Request) using MacBook<\/h1>\n<ul>\n<li>It is time for us to create a \u201cClient SSL Certificate.\u201d This will allow our notification server (Firebase) to connect to the Apple Push Notification Service.
